Co-developer of Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation (FAKTR), Dr. Gregory H Doerr DC, CCSP, SFMA, has further cultivated the rehabilitation world by developing the education into two certifications: Functional Soft Tissue (FST) and Functional Taping for MSK Injuries (FTMI.)
Dr. Doerr is a Chiropractor from Cliffside Park, NJ. He graduated from Rutgers University with a BS in Biology and is a graduate from New York Chiropractic College. He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and has lectured nationally and internationally on topics of Sports Medicine, Rehab, Taping and soft tissue procedures. In total, Dr. Doerr has lectured on 6 continents and 32 of the US states over the last 20 years.
Dr. Doerr has worked with sports teams at all levels with high points including: University of Colorado, Penn State, the Washington Redskins, AVP Pro Volleyball Tour, The Gold Cup International Soccer, US Track and Field Championships and the Central American Games.
A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Rachel Nakayama is a chiropractor and owner of her practice, Elite Spine, in Port Orange, FL. Prior to her time at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Nakayama also graduated with her BS in Exercise Science Sport Management Focused in Kinesiology and MBS in Masters of Business Combined Masters of Science in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.
Specializing in sports related injuries and maintenance, Dr. Nakayama has worked with athletes of all ages and levels from beginner to professional. With the use of Functional Soft Tissue techniques and Functional Taping she has seen much success with her patients in the gym and on the field.
